Secondary 1 Selections

Hi everyone

Please spread the word to the Secondary 1 students that selections will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday (11 and 12 Jan) next week for both boys and girls.

Do encourage them to come down for a Try-out sessions if they are considering Softball as a CCA. Our doors will be open Mon- Thurs (4-6pm). Just need to be in PE attire!

Training Schedule for 2011!

Hi all,
First of all, we like to wish all of you a Happy New Year and hopefully 2011 will better than 2010. We also hope that all of you have a good rest during the December Holidays and are all set to come to school and softball training.

Training will starts on 10 Jan 2011. For boys, the training will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays while Tuesdays and Thursdays are for the girls. Time will be from 4 pm to 6.30 pm.
Hmm...why we starts at 4 pm? Well,...you know the answers once you have your time table :)

However, for both 'B' girls and boys, we need you to come down and train this Wednesday and Thursday (5 Jan and 6 Jan). We need to build up our fitness as your competitions will starts on the 24 Jan 2011. Yup..in 3 weeks time! We need to kick into serious training and every training is important.

So we hope that the 'B' players will come down, train well and do their best for the Nationals! Yeah!!!!

@ 9-1030am!

ms kerry lim has kindly invite the softball boys to join them for training. I personally think that this would be a good opportunity to experience and learn from the expert. Also, it is a good chance to start your engine for the new year!

Greendale Open house and upcoming events.

Hi all,

There is a change in the timing for the open house. The time is now 7.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Training for the day will be the same which is from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
However, you all need to be in school by 7:30 am for us to be ready. Also, I do hope that some of you could stay till 1.30pm.

Greendale Open House.

Hi all,
As informed this morning, the school open house is on the 18 Nov from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
With that, the training for 18 Nov will be changed to 10:30 am to 2:30 pm instead.
However, I do hope that most of you will be able come in early and able to stay till 3:45 pm.
And yes...please inform your parents as well on the changes in the timing.
Do let any of the teachers know if you are unable to stay or need anyone of us to call your parents.

Hi boys and girls!

Thought i should let you know that i'm quite pleased with the attendance this week. Thank you for putting in the effort and accomodate your holiday plans with trainings.

It is really heartwarming to see the amount of effort and prespiration you have put in each training, how you overcome the sleeping monster, the sore muscles, perhaps the peer pressure to go out have fun, just to make your way down for training on time.

You have shown your determination in wanting to improve and to do better.

With the belief "If it hurts, you will only make you stronger", I really hope you will continue with this amount of energy for all trainings and definitely in your daily dealings as well.

Continue to strive hard and you will definitely reap what you sow!

Softball Training during the School Holidays.

Hi all,
We will be starting our training from 1st Nov onwards. Training will be on every Mons, Weds and Thurs. Time is from 8:30 amto 12 pm. I am still waiting for the school to give me the go-ahead due to the GCE 'O' level. I hope to give the consert form by this Wednesday.

Softball Cage

As you all can see from the pictures above, the softball cage is now looks for tidy and clean.

Both Ms Tng and myself spent about 2 hours checking the equipments and cleaning the cage.

We hope that you could carry on and ensure that the equipment are neatly kept and the cage area are free from any litters and yes...ants....

Do take care of our cage as it more or less show our team professionalism and discipline.

Most probably coach marcus will be coming down too, you guys are also ENCOURAGE to come down to traing your fitness or to have a break out of the stress of EOY's examination (:

Hope everyone had your break in one way or another...and you will come back recharged for the new term..

Trainings on first week. Those who cannot make it for trg due to one reason or another (eg Learning Journey for Sec 3) please inform the captains beforehand.

Service learning @Ling Kwang Homev on 10 July(Sat)- I hope all of you have been preparing for it. We want to make it a good day for the old folks..please find out the confirmation/details from Dr Chua.

Hi Young Ones, Old Ones, Older Ones, EVERYONE....

Calling out to ALL softball team members and alumni.... there will be a Softball BBQ on 24th June 2010 (Thursday)! The captains will be coordinating the gathering and please spread the news to those who always don't check the blog....

It will be in school... so old boys and girls, if you are itching for some actions, do come down earlier to throw some balls.. or if there are enough people, we can have a frenly match between the old team and the current team...
